Today I had violin lessons. It was the last day of violin for the term but Bonnie who was my teacher was very sick. The music I had to play was quite hard. I had to play hard notes. When class had finished, I had to wait for my dad while it was raining and when my dad came, I was dry. I got in his car and we drove home.
Sunday 5th July
One thing I did today was go and rent some new release DVDs. Cecilia and I rented Twilight and another DVD that I forgot. We first watched the other movie (not Twilight). The main characters are :Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo. The setting was in Africa. When we finished the DVD, we went to sleep. It was a great movie. Was it called Madagascar? I've go Madagascar 2 here if you'd like to borrow it. I like those movies too - Mrs N
Monday 6th July
I rang Joy in the evening. We were arranging a time when we were going to the movies with Joy and her little sister Bridget because we had to take her. The movie we are watching is Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs. She was going to come to my house before the movie started so we can spend some time together. Then, we stopped talking, said goodbye to each other and hung up.
Wednesday
8th July
Today my family and I went to Barry Curtis Park. We walked around the whole park twice, with my sister running beside me and me on the scooter. Then we played on the challenging playground for a while. I went on the bouncy spider-web and climbed up a tall looking-out tower. We arrived home in time for a delicious lunch.
Thursday 9th July
Me and my sister went to the movies today with Joy and her little sister Bridget. We watched Ice Age 3: Dawn of The Dinosaurs. It was about a male mammoth called Manny, a pregnant female mammoth named Ellie, an adventurous sloth named Sid, two michevious possums called Crash and Eddie and a sabre-toothed tiger named Deigo who is becoming more older, find themselves underneath the ice in a whole world filled with dinosaurs, hot on the heels of a mother Tyrannosaurus who has kidnapped Sid!!
Saturday 11th July
We went to a pet shop called Animates. I went to see the adorable puppies first. They were so cute!!! My dad, Cecilia and I, went to see the shimmery fish. They twisted about in their tanks, with their colourful scales flashing brightly. Then we drove off to our house to eat the lunch that my mum prepared.
Sunday 12th July
Today I played with my cousins. The oldest cousin us called Tian and his shy little sister is called Wendy. Tian, Wendy, my sister Cecilia, my grandama and I walked to a small park that was not far away from my house. When we finally got there, Tian, Cecilia and I played on the colourful playground while Wendy and grandma walked around the park. When we stopped playing, we walked all the way back home.
Monday 13th July
Today was exhausting! We went to an adventure course called Tree Adventures. There were courses 1-9. I went on course 1-3. you had to wear a harness, attached to the harness was this safety thing and a pulley with wheels. You had to attach the safety thing to the wires. When there was a flying fox, you had to attach the pulley with wheels to the wire and then you attach the saftey thing to the pulley and then to just use it as a flying fox. I found Course 1 the hardest because you wasn't prepared for the activities. Ooooh how exciting! Where was it? Mrs N:)
Wednesday 15th July
We went shopping at Botany Downs. I went to the library. I couldn't get anything out because I forgot my library card. I wanted to get 2 books out but I couldn't get them so I managed to read 1 book there. It was about 2 giants who were boys and they were twins. They wanted to find wifes and at the end they married twins. Their babies were twins as well.
Thursday 16th

I played my nintendo wii today. The game I played was called Rune Factory Fontier. What you do in the game is you can plant crops and flowers. You will have to be a boy in the game. You can also keep pets, make girls love you and lots more! When I finished playing, I went to bed.
Saturday 18th July
Today it was Gloria's birthday party!! Gloria, her friends and I went to Butterfly Creek, and McDonalds. At butterfly creek, we whent to the butterfly house and we saw heaps of colourful butterflies. There were also baby crocodiles,alligators, a petting zoo, a farm and the bug house. There was seperate buildings for all the animals. Afterwards we went to McDonalds for lunch. I had a McChicken Combo, and it was delicious. We finished off by going to Gloria's house and having the strawberry cream cake. Sounds like you all had heaps of fun! Mrs N:)
September/October Holidays Hi! I am at Shenzhen. Shenzhen is a city of China. This looks beautiful! So warm and sunny! Mrs N :) This is the city of Shenzhen!
On the 30th of September my family and I ate at the 1st MacDonalds in China.
Everything in China is very cheap!!!. So far I have brought a big pencil sharpner like Mrs Nugent's (Except it is a pink mushroom), a led pencil and a led pencil each for Joy and Astarlii ( My two best friends who are also in the same table as me!!!), an umbrella, new shoes, scissors, socks, a butterfly clip, a pink and white striped hairtie and 2 matching clips. The thins that I have got from my Auntie are mostly for hair. I have got a game called Brainbox the world, 5 headbands, 3 clps and about 2 hairties. I hope you will be able to fit all your bits and pieces in to your suitcase to come back home!!! Mrs N :)
China has lots of big apartments and buildings.I live on in a apartment and I live on the 32nd floor. My dad is arfraid of heights so it is very unlucky for him! This is the apartment I live in and I live at the very top! I hope you're not afraid of heights! Is it a good view from your room? Mrs N :)
On the 1st of October I watched the 60th Chinese National day on T.V. They had a sort of big party outside the Tian an men Square. They had a ceremony with a parade. There was army people and there were also pilots in the parade. There was also the Chinese president and lots of other important people. The part I really liked was when there was lots of planes and they were leaving behind them different colours each. But for most of it was quite boring because I didn't understand why they had to have a big ceremony just for Chinese National Day. There was also another ceremony at night and it was alot more fun to watch because they had people dancing everywhere and there was a part where it looked like a machine was changing words and making different patterens but they were actually people! I watched some of it on telly here - what an amazing thing to be able to see in real life!!! Mrs N :)

On the 2nd of October I went to a hotel. Cecilia, Mum, Dad, Grandma,Grandpa, Uncle and I went to the swimming pool. There was nobody in the swimming pool and it was huge for a outside swimming pool. I was relieved when I got in because China is extremely hot!!
You're lucky that no one was there - I thought the pools got very crowded over there.Mrs N :)
On the 3rd of October the whole family (Including Uncle, Grandma and Grandpa) went on a 3 days and 2 nights trip with lots of other people. The 1st place we went was a temple called Nan Hua Si. The temple was famous because there was a famous budda there. We didn't go with the rest of the group because they were too slow. We saw alot of turtles. Big ones, small ones, adults and children. Beautiful! Mrs N :)

On the 4th of October we went to the 2nd part of the holiday. We went to a mountain but I for got what it was called. The mountain was very famous because it's rocks are red. We went on a boat. There was a person who told us what the mountains looked like. The 1st montain looked like a elephant. There was also a mountain that looked like a lion, a turtle, a budda and a hamburger.

On the 5th of October and on the last day of our holiday, we went to the last place of our holiday. It was also a mountain. It was a place where in Engilish, is called The Lion's Head. It is called that because it the mountain looked like a lion's head. This was a place where the had found fossils of people still changing. They were from thousands of years ago. They were called the Mabba people. Or the Homo Saipens. We climbed the whole Lion's Head for nothing! There was massive amounts of steps and they were all uphill!! When we reached the top, all I saw was the view. Then we started to go downhill. I was so puffed-out when we reached the bottom. I bet the view was lovely though! I think I read about that place. Mrs N :)
On the 7th of October, I went with Cecilia, Mum and Dad to a supermarket called Wal Mart. It was like The Warehouse and Countdown mixed together. The Warhouse or what was like the Warehouse was on the 2nd floor ( There are only 2 floors). Countdown or what was like Countdown was on the 1st floor. As you would have guessed, it was HUGE!! In both length and width it was huge. To tell the truth, we didn't even go onto the 2nd floor. We brought some food on the 1st floor and the we went home. :)
On the 8th of October my Auntie and my 3rd cousin came to Shenzhen from Bejing. My cousin was only 2 years old, was nearly as tall as my 5 year old cousin. Or maybe even taller! My cousin who came back from Bejing is called Dou Dou. He looks alot like my 5 year old cousin who is called Tian. And he mumbles alot like Tian. to rejoice, we had lunch a restarunt. What a lovely time you must have had. Mrs N :)
On the 10th of October the 7 (Which means that Grandma and Grandpa aren't going) of us went to a place called The Queen's Spa and Dining. It was a place to eat, a place to to swim and a place to sleep. When we got there, Mum, Cecilia, Auntie and I went to the 3rd floor. I saw a ice cream machine and guess what? It was free! So was the marshmallows and the Jelly. It turned out I didn't have time to enjoy my feast because I was going to have dinner. At dinner I met a girl called Vei Vei. After dinner I had a swim and went to bed there.
What an unusual and exciting place to go to!! Mrs N :)
On the 11th of October I went to amy dad's friends house. They were having a meeting. My dad's friend's wife was looking after their dogs. There were 2 dogs and they were 2 Pomeranians. On was in Engilish called Wood and the other was called Yuan Yuan. Wood was the mother and Yuan Yuan is the daughter Cecilia and I played with them for a long time. Soon, it was time to go.
On the 12th of October my Mum, Cecilia and I went to a fun park called Window of the World. It is called that because it had all the famous buildings or things from different countries but shruken to a certain size. For example, there was the Effiel Tower, The Leaning Tower of Piza, The White House, Bukingham Palace, and much, much more! There was also a ice skating area so we ice skated there for about 2 hours. The thing I liked best was a 4-d short movie in Mt Fugi. There was also alot of dancers. This is the entrance. As you can see, this is The Effiel Tower. It must have been truly amazing! On the 14th of October the 4 of us went shopping at a plaza. It had 4 floors. When we had dinner there, Dad had a phone call. It was that Vei Vei was to meet us at Fundoland. Fundoland is a place full of arcade games.When we met, we played for a long time. Just the 3 of us. The game I liked most was the drum game where you hit the drum when it tells you to. That was a neat thing to have happen - it must have been nice to have Vei Vei to play with. Mrs N :)
On the 15th of October the 4 of us went shopping at a place (Shenzhen is very big). We came there especially because Cecilia wanted to buy a pair of shoes that have the same style as Coverse but a diffrerent brand. we aslo came there to buy some clothes. It was very busy. In the end we find the shoes that Cecilia wanted but we brought 2 shorts. 1 for me and 1 for Cecilia. We aslo brought Mum a pair of sandals for Mum when she does fittness. Guess what.....I bought a wii fit so I could improve my fitness - but now I have a broken leg so I can't use it!! Grrrr! Mrs N :)
On the 17th of October the 9 of us went to the zoo. There was a Red Crested Crane (It is native to China) and there was the Golden Monkey (Which is also native as well as endangered to China). We saw alot of animals such as Lemurs, Zebras, Giraffes, Sharks and Dolphins. You could spend money to feed the elephants.There was 2 shows. One was with lions, tigers and white tigers. The other show was with Dolphins, seals and people. It liked the 2nd show because it had people diving with lots of tricks. I love zoos. How neat it must have been to see new animals that you couldn't see here like sharks and dolphins and the red-crested crane. Mrs N :)
On the 18th of October Uncle, Mum, Dad, Cecilia and I went to a plaza to buy wii games I especially wanted pet games. In the end I only found 1 pet game. The rest were the games that Cecilia and I wanted. Dad had 1 as well. Uncle was downstair looking at laptops. I also brought Mrs Nugent a present there. Oh Cassandra!! You spoil me!! ( Thank you for thinking of me but please spoil yourself - it's your holiday!!!) Mrs N :)

Hi! I am at Shenzhen. Shenzhen is a city of China.
